Rocky terrain boots

I went hunting in some gnarly rocky terrain last season and my boots were NOT up to the task. I felt like I was ice skating on boulders, so I need something with actual ankle support and grip that won't have me eating dirt. What are y'all wearing out there? My pride can't take another tumble

I’ve been there, and I know it hurts to slip on a rock with a pack full of gear. I switched to a pair of Crispi Nevadas last year, and it was a game changer for ankle support and traction. A buddy runs Kenetreks and swears by them too. Whatever you pick, just make sure they’ve got a stiff sole and good tread... your pride and tailbone will thank you later

@Jamie, check out Crispi or Kenetrek cause you need boots with super stiff soles and good ankle support to handle those rocks without wiping out again

You're right on with the Crispi Nevadas. When you're carrying a heavy pack in that terrain, a stiff shank is a must. That kind of tread and support is key to saving your butt (literally).

Wearing Sketchers on rocks is just asking for trouble! Pete's suggestion of Crispi or Kenetrek is perfect for you...grab something with a deep tread and a sole that won't fold like a cheap flip-flop.

I’ve heard great things about Crispi and Kenetrek too, might have to finally try a pair
