Rocky terrain boots

I went hunting in some gnarly rocky terrain last season and my boots were NOT up to the task. I felt like I was ice skating on boulders, so I need something with actual ankle support and grip that won't have me eating dirt. What are y'all wearing out there? My pride can't take another tumble

I’ve been there, and I know it hurts to slip on a rock with a pack full of gear. I switched to a pair of Crispi Nevadas last year, and it was a game changer for ankle support and traction. A buddy runs Kenetreks and swears by them too. Whatever you pick, just make sure they’ve got a stiff sole and good tread... your pride and tailbone will thank you later

Sketchers and I don't recommend them for hunting. Comfortable and light for every day use but not fit for "gnarly rocky terrain" I'm looking to get a better pair of boots and soon.
