Hey everyone! I'm in need of a local gunsmith for some trigger work and maybe a few repairs. If you've had great experiences with someone, please share their name and where they're located!

Where are you located? Tennessee takes an hour or so to drive from north to south, but a couple of days east to west! lots of space to go over.

Good gunsmiths are often difficult to find. If someone is looking for custom rifle builds, I can recommend Southern Precision Rifles (Bugholes). I don't think they do that much repair work, but I could be wrong. This thread will be helpful in the event I need options for GS work in the future.

Bugholes did a 6.5x06 build for me on an older Howa (S&W 1700 LS) action. Originally it was a 7mag that I never liked so they installed a new Bartlein 3b st. stl. 5r barrel, chambered for 6.5-06, and worked out the cycling/feeding issues that came with the old box magazine platform on the McMillian stock.
I would recommend using them for your builds.

The only issue with Bugholes is needing to pack your patience. I have a general rule of thumb on gunsmiths. If they can work on it very quickly, they probably are not a top tier rifle builder. High demand typically means better quality and longer wait times.
