Hey everyone, I thought it'd be great to share our experiences with local gun shops. We all know finding a trustworthy place to buy or service firearms can be a challenge. What makes a gun shop trustworthy to you? Have you had great experiences or some that you'd rather forget?

I'm looking for recommendations for shops in different areas, especially if they've got a solid used gun selection, fair prices, or reasonable transfer fees. Let's help each other out! What shops do you think are worth visiting? And if there are any you'd steer clear of, don't hold back. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

For a small town, Volunteer State Armory in Lenoir City is a great place to visit. Bobby is great to deal with and has a nice selection of new guns and often will have some really fine older firearms. Bobby is one of those folks you can totally trust.

Uncle Johns Hangins is a bit different. You never know what John has or what deal he has brewing. I've bought some stunning classic Smith revolvers and a Colt or two from him and done a few trades. I've always walked away from the deal feeling like we both came out ok. Johns is also a place where you can go hang out for an afternoon and make ne friends and visit old.

Crossroads Firearms in Halls has a very good selection of new and used fine arms at good prices. They carry reloading supplies, scopes, dots, suppressors and other items. Nice people!

Here in Dickson, the Dickson Sportsman store is a good and fair place to get guns, ammo and accessories. I use them also as my FFL if I order something from out of state.
Guns and Leather in Greenbriar has a great inventory of new and used guns and a good gunsmith.

In Crossville:
1. Ol' Daves Pawn and Gun
2. Crossville Gun & Pawn
The stores are a block distant from one another.
