You know you're getting older when...

Ive had mine for almost 14 months. Prescription drugs cost more than they used to BUT, that means we made it to retirement. We are still just a number as far as our Government is concerned, but we arrived. If our health holds up and the good Lord is willing to allow us to make more than 30 draws on the SS that we paid in - then statistically, we are ahead of the curve. I say congratulations are in order and perhaps some range time to celebrate !

Ya know you're getting older when - Your grandson whom your very proud of anyway says "Hey pops ! - you wanna go to the range with me and a few friends from work. We arrive and he covers the range time and then we stop at Outback on the way home and he springs for lunch as well. He and I have gone shooting many times in the past but this time - he insisted on chipping in where I would normally cover the cost of the entire outing. He's becoming a fine young man. BTW, we went to WINROCK to shoot. it was nice in that we didn't have a crowd and we didn't have or need a range officer present. Everyone there was cordial and courteous.. While there a doe walked onto the shooting range. It casually strolled from one side to the other while we photographed, watched and wondered. I mean really - WINROCK is not too far from the Dept of Energy. Perhaps radiation exposure or a parasite affecting the brain, who knows? Definitely a first for me.

Sounds like someone has done a good job of raising that young man and you are blessed with him being a fine young man
