Why we really own guns

Having fun is more important than some realize. I shoot because I like it and enjoy a challenge. Not every hobby needs a reason other than making you happy.

I agree with all of the reasons noted above. In my collection there are not only many functional modern guns, but a lot of old weapons from previous centuries. Just going in that room and looking and handling them takes me on a mental journey of the history of the nation and how we got here. May those who would erase that freedom ALWAYS be faced with defeat!

I've been around firearms all of my life, I was raised with a very large number of firearms enthusiasts. Watching them all strive for accuracy, hunting and bringing home game, buying and trading firearms, and just generally enjoying the firearms they had.

My fascination started with how they worked and what could possibly make them more accurate than they already were.
