No, it isn't "bad weather" or regulations but instead solar. I think most would agree that the sun is the primary source of weather. However, to suggest that it has a far greater impact than just heating and cooling is likely to put one in the looney bin. For example you can track back as far as we have data 50s-60s and find a cyclical pattern pattern to earthquakes corresponding directly with the suns maximums and minimums. 60 years of data showing the same patterns yet officially they are completely unrelated... Long story short the sun will supercharge weather on earth. Our magnetic field helps to lessen the impact. What would happen if the field dropped 20%, 50%?

There is almost no objection that the poles switch, move, and are currently moving. There is no consensus on how fast they change or what transpires during the flip. You can ask 5 "experts" and get 6 different answers. Tracking the poles it becomes very clear they are not wandering but moving and moving far faster in strait lines. To go to the southern magnetic pole would require a ship as it is no longer over Antarctica! The north has crossed over the geographic north and is working its way into Russia. Yes they are headed toward each other but what does it mean?

Pretty lights, beautiful aurora pictured not in Alaska but Key Largo, say what??? Last May there was a solar event that resulted in aurora being seen far more south than normal. Something very rare. The complications are that for the records we have the solar event was nothing compared to what has been required in the past to result in the same effect. Logically one would have to assume either the readings of the past are either wrong or more is getting thru the field (field is weaker).

If you're still reading you are probably saying "so what" and that's understandable. In simple terms think of the sun being a massive EMP generator. In the past we have been "zapped" and it has done little to nothing because electricity hasn't been a part of our daily lives. Think 1859 Carrington event and the problems it caused when electricity was very little. Fast forward to 2025 where a thin spot in the field killed the grid in Spain, Portugal, and Southern France. That was simply regular solar activity.

Every 11 years the sun has its cycle, currently we are coming off a peak. We are coming off a peak with a magnetic field getting weaker. How weak and how fast is unknown as that data has been withheld for well over a decade but before being withheld the trend was decreasing on something resembling an exponential curve. In about 4 years we should hit the bottom of the curve and the sun will start to increase activity.

What strength our magnetic field is at that time is a guess but its a safe bet a lot less than now. So with the next solar cycle increase and a far weaker field it is a very good idea to be prepped to survive without power.

As this happens will there be man made conflicts, starving people, martial law? Most likely, many estimate grid failure could result in 90% population loss. Do you think the govt knows this and chooses not to inform the public to avoid a panic? Or do you think they are unaware and that stupid? If they are aware can you see decisions they are making related to this?

Asking an AI the proper questions so as to avoid a canned response the result is a matter of when not if. I ran the questions along the lines of what are the chances of a Carrington level event happening. Answer is never more than 4-5%. However, when you change to whether or not it will happen the answer is 100%. That's when the calculations start and then if you factor in the poles shift the answer changes from very optimistic to very dark. Couple with that the effects the one thing the AI is programed not to suggest for survival is getting a gun. Rather entertaining 🤣
