When a gun made me cry (yeah, really)

I never thought a gun would make me tear up but it happened. I gave my son my dad's old rifle and all the memories rushed back...every hunting trip, every lesson my dad taught me. It's crazy how much history can be wrapped up in something like that. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Giving my grandpa’s shotgun to my nephew got to me. It was like three generations connecting

It was pretty awesome... firing my granddad’s .30-30 after a while got me right in the feels. The sound and smell just brought back all those memories.
