Narrowing it down to gifts I received, it would probably be the bino harness for hunting. For years I just used my backpack to carry my binoculars. Now they are always at the ready coupled with a very convenient place to access my range finder and other items for quick access.
Most of the hunting and fishing items I have accumulated were gifts I gave myself. The fishing kayak has been the one of best things I gave myself. It opened up my enjoyment of fishing small rivers.
