Ramen Stash for the Long Haul?

Just looking to see what everyone's thoughts are on keeping ramen in the prep stash. Sure, it's not the healthiest option, but man, it's cheap and filling! I've got a few cases tucked away, but how long do you think they last past the expiration date? Also, any tips for storing them better than just in the box? Do any of you guys rotate ramen regularly or have any tricks to spice it up for long-term use? Seems like a solid choice for the pantry, right?
