Permethrin spray changed my life

I used to get covered in ticks every trip, so I started treating my clothes with permethrin and now I rarely find any. The stuff actually works, do you use any tick prevention methods?

I couldn't agree more. If you spend time in the woods in West TN you either wear "Sawyer's" Permethrin or you wear ticks.

I use the stuff religiously if I'm going up in the mountains, since I started using it I don't recall even having a tick on me.

One thing to note though is that for the past couple of years I haven't even seen a tick around here, asked my neighbor if he had and he said the same thing. Kinda odd...

Permethrin has saved me more stress than anything. I treat my pants and socks and the difference is obvious. I still check but I am not pulling handfuls off anymore.

Can I assume it works just as well on chiggers ?
I dislike chiggers as much as I do lawyers, politicians and tax revenuers.
