N/E TN Duck Hunting

I live up near Boone Lake. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with duck hunting on Boone? I've got a pontoon boat on the lake and was thinking I might get a big camo cover, tuck the boat somewhere in a cove, and give it a shot next season.

Boone can be hit or miss...scout coves early, watch flight paths and hide that pontoon well or they’ll flare.

Toward the late season, the bird pressure picks up and things start moving around more. That pontoon cover idea might actually work if you manage to find the right cove to hide in.

That’s one of those ideas that either works great or gets laughed at by every duck in the county.

Boone lake was one of my favorite lakes for summer time activity. I hope the duck hunting activity proves to be just as satisfying. I hope tou will post pictures.
