Headed out to the Tennessee River last weekend, targeting some channel cats. The weather was decent, a bit overcast with light winds and the water temp was around 58°F. I tossed out some cut shad on my usual bottom rigs and got a couple of solid bites, but lost one right at the bank — always the way, right? Ended up with two nice ones in the 5-7 pound range. Fished with my buddy, and he unfortunately got skunked, which was pretty funny since he's usually the one leading the charge! So, how's everyone else doing? Any luck in your areas?
