Any .22-250 fans? I shoot the.22-250 far and away more than any other but also love the.204 & the .270. I think I am about to get into the .223 bolt action long rifle as well. There are several of us around who are really into the "barrel burners"🎯. 😄

I have a fondness for the 22-250. Had a CZ 550 22-250 1-14 twist that I once took to South Dakota on a prairie dog shoot and had a ball. When I shot out the barrel out I rechambered the rifle to 308. I decided to order a 22 cal barrel for one of my precision rifles last year but decided to go with a 22GT over the 22-250 and haven't looked back.

In many instances, my Ruger 10/22 satisfies my need for target shooting and has held that spot since purchasing it in 1968. It's also hated by tree rats! LOL!
If more accuracy is "required", then my CZ 452 American gets the nod.
If I feel the need to reach out farther, then it's a bolt gun in .223 Rem. If "more power" reaching out is needed, then a heavy barrel .308 Winchester enters the fray.
If I'm in a nostalgic frame of mind, then it's time for the Sharps "Old Reliable" to come out and play - but only with cast bullets and black powder!

I am a huge fan of the 22-250. I always have one for varmint work. I recently built a 22 ARC on an AR platform and it is a laser. Having the quick follow up is nice.
