1911 customization

Why do I think you're just paying for bling if you can't manage the fundamentals? I know a lot of people might not share my sentiments, but peer pressure do not move me. Training and trigger control matter way more than any fancy fiber optic or tritium lamp

There is no cure, once hooked it has you. If you're also a reloader there is no return, as you must have all available calibers for this addiction.
Haha, you’re absolutely right, I can already feel it taking hold. I’m not reloading yet, but I can see that being the next step down this expensive, awesome rabbit hole.

I totally get where you’re coming from, I’m focusing on fundamentals first then upgrades are just part of the fun, not a fix

Just for the record, I want to clarify that with old war era 1911's or repros that emulate the military classics, I do absolutely no changes. I want them true to their origin.
However, for anything more modern made, the sky's the limit.

Like many other things, modifying a firearm can start off with something simple, but often ends with an empty wallet and a personalized item that makes you happy. Reloading is the largest rabbit hole I have jumped in. There seems to be an endless number of things you can try. The only limit will be available funds for most of us.
