I'm trying to stack up some basics, so I'm on the lookout for guides that break it down especially on shooting drills. If y'all got a go-to, drop the title and what made it click for you

Hey Jamie, that's a great question, the one that really clicked for me was Ben Stoeger's stuff, especially his books like Dry-Fire Training and Skills and Drills. What made them great is they're not just a bunch of theory, he breaks down the "how to" and gives you actual, practical drills you can do to get better. It just made a ton of sense and gave me a clear path for practice. What kind of shooting are you trying to work on?

I suggest checking out "Practical shooting drills", it breaks down the basics into simple exercises you can easily repeat. What really helped me was how each drill has clear goals, so you can easily see your progress

Michael Martin's book is a good place to start if you're looking for info on concealed carry and home defense, it covers safety and shooting drills

This is also a great suggestion

Let me add one to NOT waste your time or money on. "The Hunters Guide To Accurate Shooting" How to hit what you're aiming at in any situation. By Wayne Van Zwoll.
The book does nothing to meet the intent of the title. It is a collection of remedial firearm knowledge that most of us knew by the age of 10.
