What are you rolling around in these days? Whether it's a reliable commuter, a fun weekend ride, or a project car, spill the beans! I've been in my trusty Honda Accord for years now. Sometimes I think about getting something new, but the lack of a car payment keeps me grounded. Can't wait to see what you're all driving!
I've not had a car payment since about 1993. People will run vehicles into the ground through abuse, lack of maintenance, etc. without ever putting a dime back into them, and then continually complain about them....but they will gladly get something brand new with a fat payment book and pay monthly as if it's just part of life. With few exceptions, whatever your ride, take the amount of an average car payment nowadays and put into your ride every month...before too long (a fraction of a new purchase) you'll have nothing else that needs to be done to it...
