Tennessee Senior Hunting License

I am at (past) the age to qualify for a senior hunting license. My current license is the senior sportsman that cost $49.00 plus the convenience fee. A friend of mine told me that his license was only $4.00 and that it didn't require that he had supplemental licenses for big game, etc. He did state that if he hunter WMA land he would need a supplemental license.

Looking at TWRA's web site, I see no reference for a $4.00 senior license. I would appreciate someone letting me know if there is such an option.

There is a $4 senior license for TN residents 65+, but it’s basic. The $49 option lasts longer and covers more, though WMA permits are still required.

The $4 license exists but it’s limited. Senior Sportsman is the all-inclusive, simpler option for most hunters.
