Best 9mm Carry Ammo Recommendations

I've been considering my EDC options and need some solid advice. What 9mm self-defense ammo do you rely on, and have you had any issues with reliability in critical situations?

In 9mm, any of the readily available self defense ammo with hollow points will be fine.
I carry my own reloads. The kerfuffle about "prosecutors looking to make a name for themselves" is fuddlore.
Sadly, lots of fuddlore just won't die.

Buy yourself a box each year, shoot the old ones and replace. Let us know when you hit a failure with your year old rounds.

I'm like "fullagofast" I load what I shoot in all scenarios. I'm partial to 124/125 grain bullets and started playing with Berry's bullets, but use quite a bit of Hornady's XTPs. For my carry ammo I prefer to load hot.
