How often do you upgrade your gear?

I've been wondering how often others upgrade their firearms and accessories. Personally, I try to wait until something really improves performance or comfort, but it's tempting to chase every new sight or trigger. How about you all, regular upgrades, or you stick with what works?

Best upgrade of recent years was getting binos with range finder in them. I had used my Nikon binos for years across multiple continents. I also carries a separate range finder. 2 years ago I fell into a deal with a friend and we bought new binos with range finder in them. They also have a ballistics program that worked with my scope. I tested it 600yds and its in the xring.

Several years ago I decided to stop buying more gear to add to the ever growing piles of stuff I accumulated. Instead, I started to embark on a journey to replace and upgrade the things that were sitting in my basement. I would grade my progress with a “B”. I sold many of the firearms that just didn’t meet my expectations as well as focused on only buying things that I either really needed or significantly improved what I had at the time. I started reloading during this period of time. The reloading rabbit hole is deep, but very rewarding to me. I finally splurged on full custom rifle with all the components that I felt would meet my needs/wants. I rated my progress with a “B” because there seems to always be something that I learn or want to try. Optics, trigger upgrades, reloading equipment, navigation equipment, and many other things are always tempting me.
