Gun safe placement in your home

I suggest basement, bolted to concrete floor and dehumidifier inside. It should also be out of sight from windows and secured from theft. Don't advertise where you store guns. And for the love of everything, bolt it down...even small safes can be carried away by two determined people

I chose a spare room over the basement because of the dampness. Everything's bolted down, hidden by furniture and looks boring. You wouldn't even guess there's anything there

Finished basement that is air conditioned and I run a dehumidifier in the summer as well.
