I had the same itch and used the same scratcher..............

I love the Colt and I am a big fan of any revolver marked S&W ... I have yet to scratch that itch for the python

The only complaint on the new Python is the rear sight. I had to change it out with the Wilson Combat.

This one has some range time on it but sparingly

Ill shoot it at some point. I love the 357. I think its best all around cartridge, but the 9mm is cheaper to shoot, it has a red dot sight on it and it's a lot of fun. My favorite is still the 22 Victory. No matter what handgun I'm shooting that day - I warm up with the 22.

Both are very nice! I especially like the grips on the model 29-2.
The only thing better than one S&W is two S&W's

Here's a S&W model 19-3 (mfg'd in 1968) I bought about 40 or so years ago, she's always been a great revolver and has logged many miles with me!

This old model 15-3 of mine is one of my best shooters. It just fits my hand so well it seems to be as easy as pointing a finger at the target!

Here's one that I don't get out too often, it's a IMI Desert Eagle Baby Eagle .45ACP. When I bought this gun it was originally the black oxide finish, I didn't have it for two days and put a good sized scratch on the side of the slide...one of the only handguns I ever put a scratch on...it got there due to me putting it under the seat in my truck one day...was sickening to see! I sent it off to Accurate Plating & Weaponry (Coogan Custom) and he put the hard nickel finish on it and also did his "street action job" on it. Even under complete disassembly you cannot discern that the gun didn't leave the factory looking like this, beautiful work!
