Perfect carry revolver?

What do you consider the perfect carry revolver, and why? I'm eager to hear from those who rely on wheelguns for daily carry about what truly performs well in everyday situations.
 
First post.
I have carried a handgun of some sort for 53 years now. I started with revolvers and then into 1911's, Glocks, HK's, Sig's and back to wheel guns about 5 years ago. I have Smiths, Colts, Taurus, Rugers and as of a 2 years ago a Kimber K6s 3" in .357 Mag. As a carry gun, for me, it's the Kimber all the way for speed and handling. The gun, while somewhat strange looking, is very quick from the holster to line of sight. Its high grip position gives good recoil control, smaller than a K frame, still offers 6 rounds and is DAO. "I" believe it is more than adequate for any confrontation I am likely to encounter in my world. I just plain like how easy a revolver is to carry, conceal and operate these days compared to gearing up for and operating an auto loader. As the years slip past simpler is better for me...
 
I was one of those guys back when cops were still using revolvers. 2.5" 66 was my favorite for off duty carry. I still have revolvers, but now all my carry guns are semi-autos. I occasionally still carry my Model 36 if I want something really concealable.

I have a 4" 686 and a 6" Model 19 that I still enjoy at the range. My 686 is also my headboard gun. I don't think there has ever been a better all around home defense handgun.
 
If my arthritis isn't acting up too much I carry a new stainless 2" Colt Cobra 38. I had a really nice bison belt pouch made and it works perfect.

If my arthritis is being a problem I'll carry a Smith model 30-1 32 S&W Long in a small leather belt pouch. You get 6 rounds and it's on a J frame and it doesn't punish the shooter.

642 stainless smith is my pocket pistol, I carried a small berretta in 22 cal for years but it got to where I couldn't depend on it to fire every time I pulled the trigger so now it's a 38 snubby that's very dependable I can reload for I and be almost as cheap to shoot as the 22
 
For revolvers my only carry piece is a S&W 637 Airweight.

I have one of those S&W 686s actually a Talo Model"357" unfluted 5" and I now, I regret the 7 shot & the 5" barrel ... a 3" 686 6 hole would be a decent carry blaster..
 
Makes sense to me. Clearly smaller and lighter is better for concealed carry. I just like to shoot larger frame handguns especially if they are shooting more powerful rounds.
 
I carry a Rock Island M200 38 daily on the farm. Snake shot and ball alternating. Its a Colt clone. It gets filthy from hay dust, weed whacking, mowing, carpentry, and mechanical work. I use a bush, air compressor, and rem oil to clean it out. It might be rough looking, but it never fails and I know I can depend on it if I get in a tight spot.

My go to town carry revolver, well thats different...Colt 4" King Cobra.
